Keep an eye out for the announcement of our 2026 trail soon!
In 2025, visitors could learn about Beaulieu folklore around the attraction, and discover spooky stories as they followed the Forest Folklore and Phantoms Trail. From our atmospheric Beaulieu Abbey, to autumnal gardens and historic Palace House, the trail led them to each area of the attraction.
They could also visit the bothy in the Victorian Vegetable Garden decorated in autumnal splendour to hear about two notable characters from our own Beaulieu folklore: Mary Dore and Witchy White, both said to be able to shapeshift!
